Jodie Stolz

Teacher TrainerJodie
Jodie has always gravitated toward teaching and has a wide range of movement training. It was her desire to enhance her career as a teacher of movement, which led her to Pilates. She immediately felt the rewards in her own health, growth and enjoyment.

Jodie has been studying the work of Joseph Pilates since 1998 and under the direction of Master Instructor Romana Kryzanowska has been a certified instructor in the True Pilates Method since 2000. She has a teaching style that is both tough and humorous, demanding and amusing which is much appreciated by her following of Pilates’ students.

Traveling abroad, Jodie was asked to teach the instructors in Auckland, New Zealand. Teaching teachers at the Auckland studio offered a new challenge, which she met head on. Jodie is now a member of the faculty of Pilates Seattle International Instructor Training Program. Jodie also volunteers at Gilda’s House, where she teaches Pilates for recovering cancer survivors and those undergoing treatment.

Ms. Stolz has an Associate of Arts Degree from Seattle Central College. She has studied Creative Movement for children from Anne Green Gilbert and Ballet Technique from Hannah Wiley at the University of Washington. Jodie has also been an Artist-In-Residence throughout Washington’s public school system as a creative movement teacher. Jodie has taught Flamenco after having been a dedicated student of the acclaimed Flamenco artist, Sara De Luis.
